HRC Pre-Summit Professional Development Day

  • Saskatoon Inn and Convention Center 2002 Airport Drive Saskatoon, SK, S7L 6M4 Canada (map)

Sexual exploitation and trafficking impacts victims and their families psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Collaboration and C.A.R.E. (Consider the red flags, Assess, Respond and Evaluate) is vital in responding to exploitation and trafficking. Join Hope Restored Canada at the Saskatoon Inn on Friday, April 26th and 27th 2019. The summit encompasses professional development to health care, social service and justice professionals on Friday and community awareness and education to individuals of our communities on the Saturday portion of the Summit.

Keynote speaker for the Friday portion of the Summit is Tara Wilkie from B.C. who is a Registered Nurse and Forensic Nurse Examiner with her specialty in Emergency Nursing. She is passionate about caring for the health needs of persons who are trafficked.

The challenge is daunting, but with community partnerships solutions can be created and together we can create a world where humanity is restored and renewed in healthy relationships.
