International Women's Day Celebration

  • Station 20 West 1120 20th Street West Saskatoon, SK, S7M 0Y8 Canada (map)

International Women’s Day - March 8th, 2019.

“Better the Balance, Better the World”

Let's build a gender-balanced world. Everyone has a part to play - all the time, everywhere. From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate its presence.

Join Hope Restored Canada in celebrating the many initiatives from around the world that are dedicated to equality and freedom for women of all ages and nationalities. Presenters will include spoken word, musicians, dancers, and local women sharing personal stories with the call for freedom and equality for women throughout the world.

Hope Restored Canada is a Saskatoon-based charity dedicated to the eradication of sexual exploitation and trafficking.  We share IWD’s values, vision, and mission and want to do our part to support equality for women. We acknowledge the unrelenting discord of true equality and injustice that arises from gender-based violence that includes sexual exploitation and trafficking.
