HRC Pre-Summit Professional Development Day

Collaboration and C.A.R.E. (Consider the red flags, Assess, Respond and Evaluate) is vital in responding to exploitation and trafficking. We ask for your support of this upcoming event  Hope Restored Canada is hosting at the Saskatoon Inn on Friday, April 26th and 27th 2019. The summit encompasses professional development to health care, social service and justice professionals on Friday and community awareness and education to individuals of our communities on the Saturday portion of the Summit.

Keynote speaker for the Friday portion of the Summit is Tara Wilkie from B.C. who is a Registered Nurse and Forensic Nurse Examiner with her specialty in Emergency Nursing. She is passionate about caring for the health needs of persons who are trafficked.

Grow in Hope, Be Equipped and Respond!

Join Hope Restored Canada for an opportunity to hear from speakers, leaders and experts in their field on the topic of Human Trafficking with a specific emphasis on efforts to address sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in Canada. Where the Friday April 26th Pre-Summit event is geared towards professionals (namely health care professionals, social service providers, justice and legal among others), the Saturday portion of the Summit is geared for the general public.

Keynote speaker is Timea Nagy who is a human trafficking survivor when she immigrated to Canada in 1998. She is one of the fortunate ones who managed to escape and is now an author, speaker and social advocate .
