Give it the Boot- Recap

We were encouraged to see many faces out on Sunday to support Hope Restored Canada and stand with us as we work to eradicate sex trafficking in Canada. Here are some photo highlights of the event:

As we reflect back on the event this week, we were thankful this event drew many in our community to come together to laugh, cheer on our "horse riders", bid on pies, and learn together about Sex Trafficking in Canada.  As was shared at the event we know that for many years the realities of exploitation have been hidden, or unknown in our country.  There has been a common belief that sex trafficking and exploitation is something that primarily happens in third world countries.  The truth is, Canada has an issue.  93% of sex trafficking in Canada is of our own Canadian Citizens, and only 1 % of victims are ever rescued.

Our goal is to change that reality.

Hope Restored Canada is starting here in our own city of Saskatoon and the province of Saskatchewan, to become a part of the solution to this devastating problem.  This is not something that will go away overnight, it takes supports, education, collaboration, and endurance. the support of our community,  along with financial contributions from events like this will help us move forward to create lasting change in people's lives.

To learn more about ways you can be a part of our mission to eradicate sex trafficking in Canada, we encourage to visit our "Act Now" page to learn ways to donate items, donate financially, become a monthly donor, become a member or volunteer. We are all in this together!

Thanks to all those who joined us at “Give it the boot”. Together we can stomp out Human Trafficking!
