Our Vision of Hope

The Christmas Season is about giving. Not simply the perfectly wrapped gifts under a tree for loved ones, but highlighting the gifts this season meant to magnify why we celebrate. There are gifts we are to receive into our lives and gifts we are to pour out to others i.e. gifts of of peace, grace,  joy, love, faith and hope.

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
— Hebrews 11:1

Our Vision at Hope Restored Canada is "envisioning a world where humanity is renewed and restored in healthy relationship." Our first three core values support this hope filled vision as we focus on transforming the heart, family and our communities with:

empowering people to live and lead by love,

affirming the hope and joy of our service,

respect for the dignity and honour of healthy relationships,

Unless we have a vision of what we are aspiring towards in the abolition movement, how then can we embark successfully on our mission is to "Eradicate sexual exploitation through our HOPE Model." (Click here to learn more). To have hope restored in the hearts and minds of Canadians that commercial sexual exploitation can be eradicated in Canada is an impossible feat unless we immerse ourselves in immeasurable hope that all people were created for so much more.

As our first Core Value states, we are called to lead and live by love.   Our wish for you this Christmas:

  •  may your faith and hope increase to envision a world as it was intended to be.
  • may compassion grow in your hearts to reach out to those who need hope.
  • may you be empowered to live and lead by love. As in the famous "Love" verse, Love does not rejoice about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. Love is always hopeful...
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance
— 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Merry Hope Filled Christmas to you from all of us at

Hope Restored Canada!
